Mission

Faculty Success sustains a thriving faculty by supporting scholarship and teaching and seeks to improve equity in academic work by effecting change in CSU cultures, structures, and climate.

Initial funding and support for Faculty Success was provided by the NSF ADVANCE program.

Faculty Success Toolkit

The Faculty Success Toolkit is now live! Including research and policy recommendations on faculty recruitment, onboarding, mentoring, workload equity, promotion and tenure, and supporting work-life integration for caregivers, the Toolkit is intended to support CSU departments and leadership in creating environments that allow all faculty to thrive.

Sept. 22-Dec. 1

Fall25 EnCircle Mentoring Circles

EnCircle is designed to support CSU faculty members through a mentorship network across a variety of disciplines and appointment types. The program is open to faculty of all identities and career stages (tenured, pre-tenure, continuing, contract, and adjunct faculty).

The base time commitment is six 1.5-hour meetings with expectations for brief check-ins with other participants between circles. Meetings will take place every other week beginning the week of Sept. 22 and ending the week of Dec. 1.
