Faculty Success sustains a thriving faculty by supporting scholarship and teaching and seeks to improve equity in academic work by effecting change in CSU cultures, structures, and climate.
Initial funding and support for Faculty Success was provided by the NSF ADVANCE program.
Support search processes to successfully attract diverse pools of outstanding applicants.
Empower faculty and staff to enact change within their spheres of influence.
Promote equity in workload, evaluation, promotion, and tenure processes.
Support leaders of academic units in their equity efforts, and foster accountability for equity-based goals and outcomes.

Since 2022, CSU’s Workload Equity Task Force has been collaborating with partners from across campus to identify, implement, and sustain more equitable workplace practices.
Sept. 22-Dec. 1
EnCircle is designed to support CSU faculty members through a mentorship network across a variety of disciplines and appointment types. The program is open to faculty of all identities and career stages (tenured, pre-tenure, continuing, contract, and adjunct faculty).
The base time commitment is six 1.5-hour meetings with expectations for brief check-ins with other participants between circles. Meetings will take place every other week beginning the week of Sept. 22 and ending the week of Dec. 1.
